my getaway trip

my getaway trip

A Poem by ringo
"

old poem

"
 on my selfish trip
Infected riff widens and dispenses sorrow
the drink flows endlessly
and my mind drifts wonderfully
ever persistent she penetrates my metal visions
another drink blurs the visual pain
and the outside storm brings rain to the desert
draining my eyes of their camouflage
withering my plastic smiles
my heart dragged in glass for hours
the sad liquor never stops
and she is never gone
i want to pass out and not dream of her
so i add more to my drink so i can sleep
