Mum By Christopher Ross Livingstone (reflection from the 18/10/2022)

Beneath the Blue sky

Strolling by in reflection

What's unspoken

sings in my heart

Over the earth

To the Moon and back

Blue sky above

One year on

on the day you left

Sensing and feeling

Inward I arrive

Thinking of you

Mum

Your light burns like the sun above

The love you live by so bright

Internally embracing it

Night and day and our love ever so warming

Especially upon a year since your surrendering

Candle lit

Like a flame within

Calling on reflections

Memories of fondness flickers

Brighter I hold you

I am moving beyond pain

Mum

You lived a life with qualities

Your resilience and a pure love shone like the moon

You gave to us unconditional light

Despite experienced hardships

Never expect much in return but loved all the  ore

Mum

Your sons

Hold your unconditional love

in return we offer ours

Eternal gratitude for your soul lays with your grace

One year on since you surrendered unto your peace

Mum, forever I love you
