How much you mean to me

How much you mean to me

A Poem by Rajive

When I think about life and what it holds,

I think about us together, growing old.

Being with you makes me feel blessed,

Like I’m King of your castle, higher than the rest.

You touch my heart with your elegant smile,

Your beautiful face and heart of a child.

When I hear your voice, my arms get cold,

Aching every second without you to hold,

At the sight of your lips, I want to kiss,

So that I can reminisce on what is bliss.

Every breath I breathe, every sigh I take,

I wouldn’t give my love a second to take a break.

If love is a crime, I don’t want to be right,

I want to hold in my arms, gently yet tight

I’ll love you forever, you know that is true.

As long as you’re with me, I will always love you

It starts well and the second paragraph is awesome. The "if love is a crime" line was good as well. One tip- some of the rhyming sounds a little forced; poetry doesn't have to rhyme! good job overall.
