Dear you,

I'm writing to let you know I still think about you too.

I really do.

All the time.

But what you need to understand is that what I think about is not really you.

It's me.

It's what I've created in my mind and what you could never become.

I'm writing to let you know I've changed, but not really.

I'm still everything I was but now just a little more.

A little more aware.

A little more me.

And yet.

We are all human.

You are you.

and I am me.

and I wanted what you were.

and what you now can never be.

There is no lesson in all of this.

Just two people searching for happiness.
