Everytime

Everytime

A Poem by RL Valdez

Everytime our lives seem moving fine
And everyone looks like having all the fun,
I am here at the bottom of the world,
Observing how it revolves, how they evolve.

Everytime our path meets each other end
And everyone sees us just a painted men,
I am here at the middle of the crowd,
Waiting for another doom to start again.

Everytime I tried to reach their sights
As everyone tends to let go and deny,
My heart seeks you to hold my hand
For us to both stay 'til the end of line.

Everytime time flies so quickly stead fast
And everyone seems to let the flow just,
I am here with my heart firmly stoned,
Wishing again for the old story to be told.

Everytime I remember those you forgot,
My mind pains like being kept and locked.
For every time memories come flashing back,
My heart bleeds through my eyes with drops.

Everytime I travel beyond the present time,
Building a world with only you by my side,
Dreams I often tell come truly in a snap,
left me hanging with my craziest mind.

Everytime every fantasies' been on my thought,
My day would just be the perfect of all.
But after the night conquers the bright daylight,
Begins the fire to burn my everyday vile.

It’s amazing how we build things in our minds. That the stories we crave are old but comforting. Even if they are burning the days we try to live within. Nice job.
