Behind all falling falling falling

Behind all falling falling falling

A Poem by Sir Robert Robbie Lord Dudley

Out spinning off atop of thoughts within my mind
I felt the rocks bust'd by gripping sitting twist'd rags, switches
are thrown upon one fuse at a time ever those
understand it here on a poem, here on a song
can't attend ye ole grand opening out of a thunder storm
unrolling the skies down flowing thru
changes, rolling, feeling resolute, climbing one step
beyond the blues way out there into the blue
I know going up and over all I'm needing now is this new
in lasting words gazing back down pack it up
oh! stars deep how did I know that by recalling
rolling away from within parts in sleeves my belief's dusty a bit

And, did I deny me, might be rusty any places else, what is up
behind all, falling, falling, falling, in a cloud
although I don't seek them out now
hot air balloons are propping up lines fed the clothesline pole
flying wet sheets sudden lightning each warm flash can
lights, stirs something tonight is running
appearing whenever we will feel for that ever
after all trying for more aware I do now compare unprepar'd
going, going, going, before I go on
behind all, falling, falling, falling is instant lost at a time gone

Your poem, Falling........., is a very thought provoking list of life responses to various challenges? I found it inspiring and could identify with the emotion and response to things that a human being could encounter which they may not understand or are hurtful. This was refreshing and really fun. God Bless you!

This is an interesting poem.......

I am having difficulty with its structure and lack of sentencing and punctuation, nevertheless there is a series of unique images flowing throughout the poem.

It has the style and feel of an oldtime poem, something that would predate the 20th century, a period of great poets and poetry. For this reason i can imagine some people would not be able to fully grasp its meaning and theme.

Still, i quite enjoyed the language and images, even though i am not really a fan of free verse.
