RIDING ON A SWEET MOONLIGHT BEAM

RIDING ON A SWEET MOONLIGHT BEAM

A Poem by Sir Robert Robbie Lord Dudley

ever since early evening

in last Spring

within you to recall

O how it was in past Fall

so cold cold way way below

without you to recall

i kept me thoughts so i can
of you & me walking
riding on a sweet
magic moonlight beam
stirring & filling upon breezes so hours & hours
intimate galaxies of dreams absorb'd
during a quiet
oceanside walk
we try to fly on stages gently up
left in a glass lit' within
hey, heart cares abouts head & eyes wide open
on the improvements at the free ends
climbing after it
ever-truely a silver leaf
flashes of light
future looks bleak
there is more from every turn
will we go back again
to let slip back into again always again
to smash into pieces
oceanside wilderness
above us within steps over
O climb at will
i bring it down
the sail uncertain
boom in my ear
where-abouts
the boat got cloudy
but we're ever-ready partly so
by the kind reply
enabled how we knows could
sensed on a purpose
looking beyond reminds why
one step at a time
left there ladder of life to the roof
we're out of step
we're out of time
this should be our balance
should this be done
our performance
no guidance
no structures
thence we glided down deep
whence we bound
henceforward
for a time in waters rough
wind on the reef
beneath the roof
begins between in silence, splashes stops
right now
don't speak
shouts what you want
only this sound
ole, ole, ole, old hollows pond
only this feeling can
imagines times
how we tried of dances is real
making you feel much better
what will it be
yet all too often
something happens translates
warm embrace
& much more
so wings untried
wings going too fast
for a photo by me stepping off
into a new frame already
it just couldn't be the same it's never done
with sweet lust
with sweet trust
on a sand-bed
at dusk until dawn
the beach to walk on from whom seashells
the beach to swim to shore
the whole night long
of bright stars
so remarkable
before falling
down wonderful
we will go around
let's get going
all searching aside
what we're lacking therefore of
learning something fresh in baskets gathers
hanging in moonlight
tucked in so tight
to blossoms bright
What we finds next
What we knows on, on, on, on, from echoes
i don't wanna go back in
are you gonna go back in
only just us
and love we must
& nobody else will do
we go on steps softly into anew shines logs
this old house
has it's best
anticipation it's fun to see this stuff again
it's just us
and i must go first
and love we must
it's just us
on a sand-bed
at dawn until dusk
& i can dance across for real
making you feel much better if i wanna
if you wanna if we gonna dig it
moving with you
moving up
a mystery is hanging over holes
a thousand sandy hills
of times in hopes moons will pass opens for us
all the lightning points that out
drops thoughts thru-out to last forever fast
looming in loud noises
looks under bridges
let's get there
what else is there?  I saw as you did paints
in first feelings shown
O make it true i would do
to the last moments so sweet
ever since early evening
in last Spring
within you to recall
O how it was in past Fall
cold cold way way below
without you to recall
i kept me thoughts so i may
