GARDEN

GARDEN

A Poem by Marie
"

Af free-form garden..

"

My garden wanders where it will

Has no boundaries;

Roses grow with hollyhocks,

Marigolds, sweet peas.

Violets weave through the grass,

Honeysuckle twines

Over fence and post and wall"

Anyplace it finds.

My garden wanders where it will,

One vast, open room.

Daisies talk to asters; colours

 Riot, bloom by bloom.

I think that having a "riotous" garden is better than not having a garden at all. I wish I had a garden like the one you so beautifully described.

I wish I did too.
Another gem Marie. Plants seem to grow as slow as a turtle walks but the grow in directions that are unpredictable. And yet, they all seem to get along. Excellent writing. :)
