Wedding Bells

Tinkling notes of silver,

Golden chimes that ring;

Bells with somber tones,

Brighter bells that sing;

Toll in sadness, then

Announce a happy time;

Send out dark alarms

With a fearful chime.

Call in grief or joy,

Call to kneel in prayer;

Messages of music

Sailing through the air.

A very lovely musical piece Marie. I really like bells, and the ones you have here on the picture are the ones i used for decorations on my wedding reception centerpiece.
I like how you have brought a different sound from different moments in life announced by these bells.
ding-dong :D lovely!

THak you. I chose those bells for the picture because I thought they were pretty and unique.
That is such a beautiful poem! I loved the way you rhymed half of the lines too!

Thank you. This is a definite rhyming scheme, but I do't remember what it's called.
