My Comfort In The Fall

My Comfort In The Fall

A Poem by Edgar Perez
"

We are nature, we are no different.

"
Living on your branches. They get thinner every step. Crumble me, and write me down. I'm not falling apart. I am falling in. So tell me. I am. I'm worth of value, that I am your expensive issue. Please Issue me publicly, I want you to notice me. I live by your branches, I have fallen next to you. The summer ended, just as the spring forgets me. Bitter and cold the winter is near, and I for you will always be cavalier. So for now I'm content in the fall, I am so fond. Have you not realized I am the leafs you shake off my dear.
Edgar Perez.

Author's Note

Edgar Perez
I'm exploring my inner nature, my earthy side, and how similar I actually feel and believe a lonely fallen leaf can feel departuring the branch is was held by. I place myself as a leaf expressing how I felt when I departed my branch.
