The Isle of Roses

The Isle of Roses

A Poem by Davi Rodrigues
"

It just came to me this morning, not very refined.

"
In this sea is the Isle of Roses
Where lie rose shrubs of every kind
Cross the sea like Noah or Moses
And the Isle of Roses you shall find

Hit the shores of the Isle of Roses
Walk uphill and get to the field
Smell the wonder it composes
Let the sight of it get you thrilled

There's no man in the Isle of Roses
Just the flowers, magically kept
Beauty keeps all the Isle encloses
It would keep you, if there you stepped

Get yourself to the Isle of Roses
And see that there the landscape gleams
Just mind the thorns, the dreads it poses
You will be pleased, at least it seems

Ahh be wary of the thorns among the beauty for things aren't always what they seem. Stunning beauty and thought put into this piece.
