HEY FAIRY

Hey fairy...what’s up dearie?

Unbalanced elements in your story?

Just cheer up...go on! Fire-Elf..

Shes's returning home tonight welcome her;

Come on!

You are upset child...

Over

Something,just a wee-bit upset,

I can sense that much and I; ecstatic as a bubbling brook,

In a poetry book won’t deny, that I just spoke to a publisher,

And I think, by JULY, we’ll immortalize you in Printers ink!

Someone’s gain is another’s loss....that’s what the world is about,

And soon I’ll be sad again and you, feeling happy as punch,

That’s the turning-wheel....no doubt!

You take care....and keep talking; share...make the best of it ,whenever you’re there,

Float your mind on water; thoughts fly free in air,though feet don’t stand on earth,

Move on without care.

And sit on the Spaceship-spire, ask what you desire,

You’ll surely get it; Alien-Gods doesn’t tire...just aspire,

And though I’m not a liar, I freely perspire,

Because We're made of Holy-Fire!

Being an avid poetry-kiddo and Charles De Lint reader and fan... how could I not believe in fairies? When life gets tough we need to be able to step into their world or allow them into ours to lift our spirits as did your poem....
