Hydra

Hydra

A Poem by Roy Wang

A girl is a hydra.
She has many heads, many attitudes.
Some vicious and snarling,
Some graceful and endearing,
But all the heads share the same body.
No matter how much you slay the bad ones,
They keep growing back in numbers.
So instead of aiming for the head,
Accept her body.
Accept all of who she is;
All of the heads because
A girl is a hydra.
No matter how vicious she can be,
She is still a thing of mythological wonder.

About
I am an 18 year old college student that writes on impulse. I would love to find a suitable publisher for my short stories and poems, one that doesn't force me to drop out of school. Sometimes, I like.. more..
