Betrayal, never forgotten

Friendship, passed over

 

Ghosts from the past

They, make up the veil,

Veil the path of the future

The hands on my back

A cold shadow, icy touches

Shiver, shiver hard

Grasping, pulling, demanding

Whispers in the wind,

A word, a conversation, a left over caress

“Sweet dream” the wind whispers

“Take care”, “Good luck”

Dreams…

 

Maybe everything was a dream…

Maybe parting is as if entering a dream-like state

Maybe it is…

If it is let it be a “Sweet dream”

 

I do, so pray

Let everything be as if a “Sweet dream” from now on

A sweet haven after everything

After all the aches and pain

After all the hurt and lost

 

After everything…

Please, please let there be a “Sweet dream”

“Live a dream, dream a life”

I don't know what's going on with you, friend! LOL. But I am loving what you are doing lately. This is another awesome write. So much so, that I read it twice, out loud. Loved how it sounded (no it was not the sound of my own voice that I loved, lol). Here we go again, lol, I cannot put my finger on why I loved it. Certain and several lines popped out at me and stuck in my head.
"Veil the path of the future" and "If it is let it be a "sweet dream"" and "Live a dream, dream a life."
*heavy sigh with eyes closed*. It made quite an impact on me. Loved it.
