Author's Note

Russell Munroe
Crisp gleaming emerald,
Your folds are creased so sharply.
Dancing at the edge of this dimension.
Flat invertebrate… empty exoskeleton.

You wait patiently for intervention.
Your prayers are answered,
Wishes granted.

The mighty finger of your deity
Presses lightly on your back.
Kinetic sparks trmble through your tendons.
You feel so alive!

Springing towards the highest places,
You are ALIVE!

I see the deity that is you breathing life into this tiny amazing creature that you have created--with one touch you command your creation to LIVE.
