Where you Ran.

Where you Ran.

A Poem by Samantha Lynn

This vacation was supposed to be fun,

but now all I can think of is the thought

that popped in my head,

the one that reminded me that

this is the state you ran away to.

Now instead of enjoying the sun and shopping,

all I am hoping for is for you to appear

around that street corner.

Hello Samantha,

This piece conveys a sweet sense of loss.

Well done.
