A Petticoat  ( female ) Diary/..........By Sami Khalil
(She lived in hope , died in despair)
Her desire to be loved and to love for there were no suitors for marriage.
Based on a true story when I was growing up
)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

On those days...
She dances like wild flowers
fluted by dulcet tones
gazing in sweet sorrow
upon utter solaces.
She, who passed star-lights
became a shadow of under-toned shimmers
wandering through life's wild affections
where heavy sighs became her measured void
looking for bucolic warm glows silhouetted
in sweet sensations.

On those nights...
She cradles dreams in tender desires
in a veil of bashful smiles
where the indelible ink is saved
for someone special...for keeps.
Still, she deserves a golden ring
and a clandestine house with stepping
stones to paradise of petaled gardens
where love is tickled to death for eternity.

On those months...
She survives in timeless beauty
brush-stroking the outlines of
her erasable heart, looking for
hands to recreate her rapture d joy
living on just because; of fantasies
on rainy afternoons with no parasols
losing herself in the chill of winters.

On those years...
Constellations glow brightly
and dim softly in sashays of dusted
apparitions when she dances her
last dance!

On those diaries...

A woman's soul. Why does she have to die in despair?

When only hope could make one live and the chance and time is not that kind to let her feel she has to wait for another period of time, perhaps she'll wish to live. But if time doesn't allow, and the physical body is weakened by countinous pain...will she live forever waiting for that love to come into her life?

A sad diary.

You have dipped into the well of the woman's soul with this one... There were many great lines and a strong concept. The idea was quite sad, but in the bitterness there was sweetness as well. Soft, sublime and yet strong as well. I shall think on this one for some time....

As humans we desire companionship. We long to find someone to be with til the end of our days. Having that great romance. I love the emotions and thoughts poured out into this piece showing the world that being single isn't always as appealing and others might think.

By far your best, and my personal favorite of yours. So well written with beautiful imagery, and the artwork just adds that special touch.

"living on just because; of fantasies

losing herself in the chill of winters."......LOVE THIS!!!

Well done, my friend. 100/100
