Redamancy............................. By Sami Khalil
Romance and beauty
==================================================================

Upon the lunar light,
I read your curved lines,
memorizing the edges of
beautiful shadows and
concealed paradoxes.
Upon the star light,
I payed attention to the center,
hiding in lovely masks,
donating my organs of selfless
withering to the bleeding fantasies,
releasing emotions upon the fray
of memories over hallowed ashes.

The familiar looked deviant and peculiar,
ricocheting noticeably backwards,
needing inked notes and helpless blankets.
I pretended to be the eclipse between
the two realities, allowing redamancy
to be saved by losing herself in return.
Beauty I saw, rebirth I witnessed and
messages I received.
Upon the cloud linings...

Romantic to the nth degree, Sami. Each time you see your love, she is just a bit different from the last time and you see something new to cherish. Stunning work! Lydi**

Simply breathtaking and so beautifully written. I love how you made references to celestial entities adding to the romance and love that shines behind each and every line. Such great talent you have added to the heart of a true poet. I am in awe......

Very nice ending; "Upon the cloud linings...."

The poem, in it's entirety, has a very nice flow.

Sami, you write amazing poetry, often introducing me to new words... had to look up redamancy cause I had no clue its meaning... but also got conflicting meanings one unrequited love the other love returned and as I read your poem, a love that is not only true but returned "upon the cloud linings"...

well crafted and deeply felt poetry Sami... and must also add my name to Tony's and Jacob's, yes
indeed a shining light here at WC and very much needed in todays world of harshness..

what a great word - loving in return. the two do go hand & hand. you have a way of making words dance and come alive. great opening and ending. i love the wording in this. 'concealed paradoxes' & 'ricocheting' - excellent. you are a true poet's poet, spreading beauty in your little piece of the world ...

Sami this is a beautiful oasis of poetry in a steadily worsening world - thankfully it's not a mirage - it's something real to immerse ourselves into.
You are a leading light on WC - always were.
Thank you for sharing this.

That eclipse lined with loud clouds crying... Sam, this was utterly stunning, I shared with everyone I knew immediately... Haha... I will say it again, you are one of my favorite poetry writers, and by-far the best I have seen on this site... Your word choice and syllable count, the blend and mix-match, combined with ethereal breath control... I do not even know how you come up with such beautiful, heart-wrenching imagery... From such succinct, masterfully woven tapestries of thought... Bravo', kudos'... I am left in a paradoxical stupor, donating my organs of selflessness to your bleeding fantasy before me...
