Save Me.

Save Me.

A Poem by Sammy
"

Self harming can be the result of many things; bullying, depression, a cry for help. But hurting yourself doesn't only affect you- it inflicts pain on those close to you aswell.

"

I heard you crying,

the way it was before,

you said you needed help,

didn't want an encore.

You cut yourself all over,

It hurt real bad,

I tried hard to save you,

but it was all a fad.

'Save me, Save me someone',

you cried all night,

you cried all day,

you self destucted,

now WE'VE got to pay.

For the lack of control,

to which your feelings are,

incontrolably insufferable,

I'm blinded by your scars.

you self destucted,

isn't it self destructed?

well, that is certainly one side of the cutting yourself,
but it isnt only because of depression
or for a cry for help
but also (i learned this because of my work) for them to find peace,
it makes them able to push away the emotional pain, and leave the physical pain, which they can handle, which they can control, and the emotion they cant,
it has a huge pshycological ways.

But further i love the emotion you put in it,
keep on writing,
though this is a real sad piece

Sory about my grammatical error- it was supposed to be 'destructed'. I understand the other sides of self harming- unfortunately, i've been there, as have too many other people. Another aspect of it, is the adrenaline rush that comes with that amount of pain, and it is sometimes that which makes the pain addictive. This poem was wrote about four years ago, when I was only fourteen, so it certainly isn't my best work. I'm glad the emotion shone through :)
