I Think I'll Live Today...

I Think I'll Live Today...

A Poem by Samantha Grace
"

One of my less dark poems. I have my moments (haha!).

"

I think I'll die today

Hanging in a tree

Hoping that I'll wake up

It all have been a dream

I think I'll die today

A bullet in my head

Hoping that I'll wake up

I'm not really dead

I think I'll die today

Blood runs from my wrists

Hoping that I'll wake up

Surley I won't be missed

I think I'll live today

Fulfilling all that seems

Hoping that it never ends

I'm living in my dream

I like this i can feel the emotion bleed though.
Well written. And dark is okay at times that is what makes us human.

This is good. But, in the last verse "Surley" should be "Surely"
Good job! :)
