A Chapter by samantha

On morning, at breakfast Staceys mother Ann looked alittle sad. Stacey asked if there was anything wrong. Ann replied back saying " your grandmother was in the hospital last night." In shock Stacey asked if her grandmother was ok. her mother replied " I dont know, she was diagnosed with cancer in her mouth and left ear." In fright Stacey cried. Her mother allowed her to stay home from school that day. Stacey had never had to deal with anything bad in her whole life. She could not understand why this was happening. A month went by when finally Staceys mother said " your grandmother is out of the hospital". Stacey was relieved to hear that so she went to visit her grandmother. When she saw her grandmother she did not look to well. Her hair was alittle messed up and she had an ivy in her arm with some medicine to try help fight off the cancer. Stacey felt bad and wished there was something she could do. She tried to hold back her tears as she stood in front of her ill grandmother. After about 2 hours of talking Stacey left her grandparents and went home.
