8 armed charmer

My Favorite animal on land and sea.

                       Eight arms with no fists, doc oc, it scoffs at you!

a hundred is just too few,

thousands of hands... they grab and pull, push and drag.

the silent blur, twisting and pulsating everywhere...

How can you strike it? the loss of one is a fraction,

a fraction of what it conceals,

it conceals it's appendages as one large mass,

each one contains those hands...

THE HANDS, the hands, the suckers...

sucking, pulling, lined with teeth - it shreds your flesh,

twisting and pulsating everywhere.

don't get wrapped by one, or it's teeth will have all the fun.

let's see doc oc rip your skin apart, futile.

It has you now, it rippled through the night light,

soundless, deadly...Potent.

just as the pain begins to cease - a new void begins, and the world of those

without a purpose flickers away. 

                  eight arms with no fists give way to the real "vice grip".

a beak, black as the sands of the world you were seconds away from!!

But huzzah! torrment gives way to ease,

and this beak avisarates you, finger by finger,

and limb by limb. 

It cracks and shatters bones, 

and just before your very eyes are clipped out of your skull;

it opens just wide enough to reveal the next world.

and all your struggle turns to embrace,

your mortal fear begins to become love to the sweet release from life.

and it ends.

                     one burst ink, one burst of energy, and one last bubble of air.

If only you had looked up to the surface, climbed and flopped your way to the top.

The night would release it's grasp and eight arms, thousands of hands, and one black beak would tremble,

tremble in the light.
