Rocky roads...transforming minds and souls

When times are tough, weather is rough; Paths are narrow and the journey too long

When vision turns out to be mere illusion, and fellow travellers become mere spectators

Then is the time when the rosy path transforms to a rocky road

So cold to bear, too harsh to tolerate, warmth and gratitude appear hollow words

The rocky road defines perspectives then, reveals facts, and unveils truth.

Goal becomes clearer then; strength and wisdom join as friends

Self-confidence become faith, scrutiny becomes soul mate

One must not lose focus then, should neither be cynical nor too tough,

Testing times spare none, but are meant to carve out a better person then

Each night follows day and all storms are meant to shun

Righteousness should never be lost; courage should never be shunned,

Faith in oneself is the only savior, in all times… good or bad

So one must return to tackle such times with improved zeal and strength…

As shallow waters are often noisier as compared to deep ones,

Difficult times can be traversed, with hope and courage as companions..

This is one of those moments where this is probably exactly what I needed to read at the time. I have read it several times now, and it explains where I am at in life. And in re-reading I can see it would explain where anyone is, and mean different things to different people, and that is an art. Superb!
