I Love You; Please Stay Happy

By Alasse Fefalas

You never knew how I felt
Even if I was always beside you
You never know how you make me melt
You look far, never near to me

Don't you feel it ironic
Overlooking people nearest to you
Taking them for granted
But when they leave you
It's only then you know

It hurt my heart much
To see you looking at others
The only happiness I feel
Is when you smile at me

Don't You feel it ironic
Overlooking people nearest to you
Taking them for granted
But when they leave you
It's only then you know

You show only to me
That sweet sweet smile
No one else knew this side of you
Other than the one he most trust

Don't You feel it ironic
Overlooking people nearest to you
Taking them for granted
But when they leave you
It's only then you know

It's hard not to show
For fear of rejection
For fear of breaking apart
The friendship we had for so long

Don't you feel it ironic
Overlooking people nearest to you
Taking them for granted
But when they leave you
It's only then you know

So I say I'm sorry
But I have to leave you
My heart weakened from loving you
Tears run dry for letting you go

So please don't feel the irony
For overlooking me
Taking me for granted
Because when I leave
I shall take my love along

So I'm sorry
If I had made you cry
And a little note from me
hoping you'd keep it

It's only very short
Only seven words
I LOVE YOU
AND PLEASE STAY HAPPY
