Her Dream

Happiness 

Hit her

So quickly

As if

It was shot at her

With a gun.

She stumbled a bit,

Trying to take in

The news.

"Finally".

That word 

Repated

Dozens of times

In her head.

Tears of joy

Ran from her eyes.

But then,

Everything went black.

And suddenly,

Almost as fast as the news came,

She woke up.
