Say it in Photographs

Say it in Photographs

A Poem by Maxinne Marie

Time would give us chances to talk,

chances to share, chances to be together.

But then, they’re just chances.

They can’t make you see that I think you’re special.

What can I do, right?

I can only say it in our photographs.

See that smile on my face

and the look in my eyes

in those captured moments

when you were right beside me?

The photos say it all.

Hi, Maxine, I think he can see, but refuses to acknolegdge it, just like mentioned by others a picture depicts a thousand words, I'm sorry you have to go through that, maybe in the end he'll come through if not the right one will,

Some people suffer from an emotional blindspot when it comes to romance because they have a preconcieved notion of who may be 'perfect' for them when perfection is at their side. It's not so much a guy or girl thing as it is a human thing. Perhaps you need to speak up (or should have spoken up). Ah, well...

This is very direct and well done

He's a GUY... they don't notice anything!! This is a fantastic poem, though. Short and sweet and right to the heart-wrenching point. Bravo on a great write!

Great little poem, and I love the picture that you have. Everything about this is pure and simple, but great.

Waaaah.!! I don't know how to make reviews!..

well, here it goes..

i like this piece! I like the aura of loneliness that speaks of desparation over someone and the struggle of trying to make ends meet...

hope i'm right with what i'm saying!..

Btw, I'm looking forward of meeting you someday..

I really like you..=)

Beautiful in its own way. Simple, sweet, and sincere. Thank you for writing this touching piece.

Tell the man!!! lol. This was really good Maxinne. I liked the simple wording and easy flow. Pictures tell the truth no matter what. I liked how you encourage him to see for himself what should be so obvious. Good job.-Catrina

I really like this poem, what can I say... I'm a photographer. I completely agree that photographs speak a thousand words... sometimes more. I think you captured that saying well.
