Tears Don't Fall

Tears Don't Fall

A Poem by Jesse Schewe
"

Poem inspired by Bullet For My Valentine - Tears Don't Fall.

"
Your tears don't fall.
They just sit in sorrow.
Your fears don't calm.
They just carry you where you follow.

Your tears don't fall.
They just crash around me.
People don't understand the way you call.
For your guilt keeps you home.

Your dreams get mauled.
By the reality of sorrow.
The pain you saw.
Holds you dear with the thought of laying in the shadows.

May your tears just fall.
And tell me why they do too.
My thoughts heals souls.
When your guilt keeps you home.

Just tell me how.
How you keep the pain in yourself.
Just let it go.
And find peace when you learn what is home.

I have to say, I absolutely love this poem. It gives the initial sense of hopelessness in times of sorrow as well as showing the glimmer of hope in the form of a person to confide in. I love the inspiration that you said this piece was from, and think you did a good job representing it :)
