The Girlfriend

The Girlfriend

A Poem by Jesse Schewe

I told you that you are sweet.
Then I saw you're heart skip a beat.

I knew then that you were fond by me.
That's why I let my flirts go on a spree.

When you reached over and held my hand.
My smile lit without demand.

While we sat eating that fancy dinner.
I wiped that sauce off your cheek, and made you shiver.

I took you home and held hands outside your door.
I stared into your eyes and I started to soar.

I leaned over and gave you a passionate kiss.
We both felt time stop and it felt bliss.

I asked you if you would do the honors and be my girlfriend.
You said that I was real sweet, and you'd want me as a boyfriend.

About
I live my life not a day at a time, but every moment in that day. I like to be social, and meet new people, because you only live once. I tend to always have a happy-go-lucky personality. I'm thank.. more..
