Diamonds In The Rough

A poem dedicated to and about the underdogs of our world.

People may deem these gems worthless

But in the eyes of God they are precious

The potter is just beginning to shape his clay

That will come to bring him glory some day

It doesn’t matter how the finished product looks

For we are all an A+ masterpiece in God’s books

Beauty and Vanity have no value on this Earth

For both of these sins are as worthless as dirt

Those who have been treated unfairly will rise again

With strength from their savior Jesus Christ in heaven

He has plans for them to prosper and not to fall

For he has come to pay the price to save them all

Everyone on this earth was created to one day succeed

The disabled, homeless, and even those who smoke weed

There is no such thing as a hopeless or worthless case

Because God made us all to love in a heavenly embrace

Rough means that these gems don’t have it easy

But God has shaped them to overcome any adversity

Hardships and difficulties will hinder them along the way

But Christ Jesus will always be there to save the day

Life can be hard with its many unforeseeable moments

But love is always there and has no eternal judgments

If there is one lesson that people can learn from this message

It is that we are all unique and created in God’s own image
