Unfinished poem about the rain

I thought it would be fun to post some "poetry notes" as a piece itself. A whole piece is possibly forthcoming for comparison.

The rain likes getting me caught in it.
Something about being wet,
something about getting dry,
about finding shelter,
maybe about ducking under the awning with you.
This always happens,
and I don't love it,
but the sound of falling drops
is irresistible.
