Fallen from Grace

He has fallen 

The only world he has even known,

Wings so black, shimmer in the moon light

He has fallen from grace

Walks the streets of complete darkness 

Alone in this world he sees a girl

Sitting on a bench crying

kneeling down to look at her face

black tears fall down her cheeks

Her wings  taken, bleeding 

she has fallen from grace

he offers his hand to her 

looking up she smiles

walking away into the mist of the night

to a grace they are welcome

for they have both fallen

What an great concept! two individuals who both reside in the same dark place (whether it be a constant state of mind or a place in their lives) come a long side to comfort each other during hard times. i agree, dark but very cute!
