I have lost this battle

This was a battle i knew i would never win

I wont shed a tear and you wont see me fall

I'll land on my feet and thrive on this set back 

My heart is torn apart and theres no sewing it up

Why i thought i could do this was beyond my sight

My eyes and mind were flooded with a heavy fog of Lust

The nights we talked and the days we said I love you's 

Fake as can be and lies that were pined on my sleeve

The signs were there but the rain of heavy wanting and yearning hid them. 

The waters were too deep for crossing over 

Raging jealousy running through me 

here is my sword,

 thrown to the ground of all those who have tried and been defeated

My breath was taken from me the moment you spoke, 

Put in a jar and never given back

My green grass grows brown, the pillows soak up my unwanted love tears

The old heart cant breath and the blood stops flowing

today i was told by my conscious that it was different and to move on.

It's whats best for me at this time.. for i have lost this battle of love once and for all
