Watching Rain In SongA Poem by Michael G. SmithMissing the one I loveBuckets of silver bullets They hit the lawn And I sit and watch, the rain And I think in song Wondering why You’re not here By my side And crying seems So freaking useless Cuz there’s enough rain That falls into this life And the music is And it isn’t helping Saying everything Through the Bluetooth Pulsing and pounding Beating, meaning upon my heart And the rain starts racing, trying... To beat the pain to a pulp No! It’s not okay! You shouldn’t be... An empty space faceless!
But, So you are And the river flows Streams of dreams On the computer screen, before me Pictures of you Days ago, Before you left me And I sit watch... The rain within killing me And I think What did I do to deserve this?
