Lunar Picnic Orbiting Venus~

Lunar Picnic Orbiting Venus~

A Poem by NoneOfYourBusiness akaKITTY KUTABAREakaCandyPole

Earth poised at the corner of a lady’s glance

emerald tinge to unearthly

divine lashes

musings

boxed with aquamarine kelp

enliven a chessboard composed of mud and finely cut slabs of onyx;

her fingers alight ever gently

on a carcass dressed in ivory

at her throat

fixed in amber

where a slash of horizon opens on her voice box

drips of gold nectar from a wound

lacing her dainty collar

where I would kiss her bow curves

delicate, my hands on her hips

inviting her into a pool of azure limestone

where I would close her gaping soul

with my weaver’s fingertips

wash her sandstone feet

bathe her dreams in wings

dress her in seashells

serve her from a pearl conch

the mead of my heart

until

she unfurled from her satiric quirks

into a moment beneath silver arbor

a chessboard cloth of red and white

spread

for her refined appetite

my grace

in an amazing bottle of Chateau Lafleur Petrus Pomerol

poured

free will

into a goblet last kissed by Arthur’s lips

caught between her plum smile

my hunger sweet

unrushed

apples and pears

to coax soprano reveries

my golden locks on her shoulder

entranced

the earth caught in the brocade of my sweetheart plunge in pearls

a neckline of hearts and rubies

suspended at the girdle of Venus

sipping heaven

a picnic

in a blessed meadow

colored with the pigment

of enchantment

outside all the lines

hello Selene,

I have missed you Darlin' I do hope you have missed me too. If only I had those sweet cherry lips....Hmmm....anyway....You do so well waking me from a dream and placing me into another...like walking from cloud to cloud, each with it's own little flavor.

A picnic would be nice right about now, allowing the breeze to push back our hair...to pass the cup and drink freely it's intoxicant....but then again...if I had you I wouldn't need anything else.....would i?

Always,

Matthew

I love when the line are blurred as they should be, this proves my point. Love is love is love, and anyone lucky enough to have it should embrace it while it still exits. Lovely and deep.

How many priceless, and wonderful things? how many natural, and precious things? all rolled into a writing which spreads it all out so beautifully, where do you get it all from?

coloured with the pigment of enchantment...indeed...such versitility of language...the twists and turns take me on an exciting ride...never a dull blade and everything just so composed....evocative of colours i see in my life and mind but somewhat more vibrant in your rendition...exquisitely elegant...your mind is divine....

Like looking at my bejeweled self in the mirror... at least in my dreams. Delicate images. A meticulous weaving of colorful and sensual morphology.

It would be impossible to say that certain lines stand out in this poem, because all the poem is outstanding. It reads like a very appealing picnic.
