Lonely Children's Recipe For Myth Adventures~A Beginner's Course In Horse Tales

A Poem by NoneOfYourBusiness akaKITTY KUTABAREakaCandyPole

In onyx

my body sets its jewel

between the setting of the sun

and the moon above the trees

I find the rhythm for the onset of life

in velvet flares of deep breathing

my fingers elongate into ivory ribbons

through the sea of a jet horse

a  voluptuous human lean

in Snow White myth adventures

my milk

dew against a charcoal illustration drinking color

from my eyes in emerald for the pines

indigo from hard muscles in motion

moistening the atoms slipping through the story of us

a girl

and a horse

amalgamated

in the teapot leaves of a lonely child under a mist canopy

drawing the future with slow sips of perennials

and honey

with a side of lemon for a foal

rocking in the corner

of her personal fairy tale

so many fabulous lines, i liked the sense of unity with fairytale, the body- eyes, fingers, such gorgeous description and then the image of the child, fragrant, drawn delicate as a petal and not our fairytale but the childs. Just incredible writing :)

One line you can evoke such a broadly painted picture. Velvet flares of deep breathing paint the smooth velvet fur with flared nostrils as the horse jets air. In only 5 words I got a masterpiece. And then the rest of the poem. I grew up with a quarterhorse (named quite unoriginally, Pegasus) on our 20 acres. We used to ride him all through the woods and even into the pond on hot days. A magical mystical time. Brought back to mind, thank you.

like jazz music and classic paintings.. your creations are to be just felt and admired... this is muse with form and vibration, encased in clear steel and fiery tears..

my eyes breath through your words, and so does, my being

Rich vernacular. *Velvet flares of deep breathing. my fingers elongate into ivory ribbons, through the sea of a jet horse* You can practically feel the horses breath on your face and feel your fingers traveling through his mane.

First time reading your work......and you are talented indeed! I love fairy tales...and you made reading this almost a guilty pleasure. Snow white must have blushed when reading this!

What a spectacular blend of fairytale and the real bond between human and horse. So many beautiful visual images to envy:

a girl

and a horse

amalgamated

in the teapot leaves of a lonely child
