Generally, ulcerous forms are larger in size, have flat or hypertrophic edges copious secretions and grow, by expansion, through self-inoculation. 

In ulcer vegetative forms (clinical form most commonly found), there is an abundant granulation tissue in the bottom of the lesion, surpassing the lesion boundary.

The vegetative lesions, infrequent observation, are usually small and well defined, devoid of secretions.

 The manifestations occur almost always after ulcerative forms secondary to lymphatic alterations that accompany them.

The extra-genital locations are rare and may result from unusual sexual practices or the extent of initial focus,self-inoculation, and this is more frequent. There is a predilection for regions of folds and per anal region.

There adenitis in don ovoid, although rarely may form pseudo buboes (subcutaneous granulation) in the inguinal region, almost always unilateral.

There are reports of location gums, underarms, abdominal wall, scalp and other. The systemic form of the disease is found generally in endemic areas, bone, joint, liver, spleen, lung and other manifestations may occur.

In AIDS patients, the donor vamoose assumes an atypical clinical course, with the appearance of new lesions, expansion of pre-existing and persisting bacteriological positivity in response to treatment.
