Zion: Dwelling at the Door

Zion: Dwelling at the Door

A Poem by Sirius King

May all who hate Zion
be put to shame
Stealing from Gods people
Their freedoms
And their names

Impoverished and pained
With the spawns of Babylon
To blame
O won’t they be ashamed
When true righteousness reigns

Held captive by your
Life of ill-gotten luxury
Treachery
It has to be
King of lies
Has your loyalty

But you’re just a lesser
A dispensable soldier
For the real oppressor
Controller
Hell’s holder

Spiritual warfare
Strong warriors
Still scared
Of the battle scares
That we bear

Primitive drums
Match the beat
Of modern guns
And marching feet

Utopia
Ground zero
No time for heroes
Front line
Landmines
Let’s stand as a people

God’s children should
Own the rights
To their own paradise
But until then
Day and night
We fight…

Moving past mountains
And stumbling blocks
Deep valleys
And jagged rocks

Knowing the souls
Of those who
Hold us from
Our promised spot
Will forever rot

All of this pain we
Are prepared to take

To reach that peaceful place
Of Zion’s heavenly gates
