Let’s just agree to disagree

Because I blame you

And you blame me

Let’s call a time out

And consult a referee

 

Foul shots and low blows

When egos take control

Trash talking, solving nothing

Relationship…

Straight to the hole

 

 Causing further damage

Bringing up past claims

Stirring up painful emotions

Collecting points gained

 

The first to shed a tear

Loses their chance to win the trophy

Throwing away all of the good years

To win the prize of being lonely

 

No more pointing fingers

No more naming names

Because everybody loses

When playing the blame game
