When Winter Comes

When Winter Comes

A Poem by wolfie

Lost in white and numb to cold,

drowsy under the weight of snow.

When Winter comes with no control,

forever bound in frozen ice.

Gazing up into grey clouds,

surrounded by bald trees,

curious as to a world of ethereal dreams,

pure as the release it please.

Slipping into a calm beyond the grasp of fear,

and beyond earth into the eye of the storm of the universe,

simply lost in the wonders of beauty.
