A Poem by Shama Zara

Translated version of "Saas"

Turn once my way,

And tell me, what eyes can do for you,

Show me the way to your destiny,

That breathing without you is play.

Let it rest, and do not ask me again,

That the breath that rains in my heart,

Is it love or passion,

Or the beat of an unanswered heart.

Some say welcome, others say peace,

What has the world been made into?

That in hello's are everything,

And the fire of love is nothing.

Feeling you and loving you,

What benefit is there to ask questions?

Because if my love becomes selfish,

What benefit is there to breathing?
