Marionette

Marionette

A Poem by Sharkapillar
"

Stream of thought. I got pissed earlier.

"
I don't know why you think
You can just...
...Push me around...
Push me down,
Down,
Down.
Like I'm supposed to be on the ground
Manipulating my thoughts...

Obey.

Stimulating my anxiety
You think it's funny?
Your laughter like a marionette
Their silent smiles
A spacious void...
If marionettes could laugh
It would be loud, and evil,
And resonating from their
Fake
Painted
Bloody
Wide
Mouths.
You have strings like them
So people can make you dance
You're just an icon of society
"Dress like we do."
"Think like we do."
"Speak like we do."

Obey.

A f*****g sheep amongst other sheep
A photocopy of the man next to you
While the government plays God
And controls you all
But not me.
They can't deplete me, can't delete me
I am unique
And I still know how to think.
And what do I think?
...
I think maybe you should stop f*****g with me.
I think maybe you should go continue being a clone
And leave the strange girl alone.

Obey.
