Cheesy title. I know. i don't give. I've been writing a lot of nostalgic s**t lately.

It was shiny
Beautiful
There was nothing else I wanted

You waved it under my nose
Teased me with it
Still I held my tongue
You couldn't know

I couldn't help but silently chase

You broke first
You let me know you wanted me
And so I came clean
I fell in love with you.
Never fell out.

You simply handed it to me
the infamous Key To Your Heart.
You gave me a smile.
I don't think you understand just how lovely you are
I love you.

You hurt me.
Badly.
I deserved it.
Still you hurt me.
I don't know if I deserve it anymore.
But I'll still take it.

I was forsaken to places I didn't want to go
I was lost there.
I'm still lost
And I hate it.

I miss being able to take you into my arms and kiss you.
I miss running my fingers through your hair.
I miss staring into your eyes,
Noticing how they were a different color every day
I miss the way you called me "Sweetheart" and "love"

I'm not asking for you to love me again.
Honestly I don't know what I want.
I wish I'd never met you.
