Hiding Broken

Hiding Broken

A Poem by writerofshadows

Who can tell me

Where this darkness ends

It enshrouds me
Insulates me
Captivates me
And suffocates me
All my hate
My anger
My insecurity

And my sadness
All held inside
To keep me company
I can feel it

Burning me out

And chilling me to the bone
And soon I will shatter
Like the broken mirror
I use to look at myself
The one I smashed
And broke my fist
Enthralled by the dripping blood
Watching my life fade away
