Masked

Masked

A Poem by horsedreamer
"

This is about those nights you just break down and cry then walk out acting like everything is fine...

"
And finally, she hit her knees.
Tears formed in her eyes and silently rolled down her cheeks.
She never let anyone see the pain that filled her eyes.
Never has she felt so hurt, every time she stands up, they push her back down.
She wears a mask to hide the pain, the scars, her fears.
Now all she can do is wipe her tear stained cheeks and fake a smile.
