last 10 pages of a book

got i hate ending the perfect book i wish it would just last forever

have you ever loved a book so much

that at the end you cried

wishing it would never stop

like part of you will die

as in...you don't stop thinking about people you met/knew/made an impression....sometimes i think about characters, wonder how they've been, what they've been up to

I honestly have to say, YES! That has happened to me many times. I can't believe I am not the only person who has ever thought that. It's a very well thought out poem, and amazingly it is only a single verse long! This is very good work. I personally, love it for the simple reason that I can relate to it. Of coarse, that's half of what a poem is, to relate your own personal experience wiht the audiance that you are writing too. Wonderful job. Kudos to you.

I know this feeling. I always used to get mad at writers for ending a book (and thus a world, and the lives of characters whom I have come to love) and leaving me with nothing.

Now I mostly read series. After twelve books, I'm tired of the characters anyway.
