Let It Rain

Let It Rain

A Poem by Jennifer Warnock

I love the rain,

especially when I'm feeling lonely.

So let it rain,

let it give me a down poor.

Not that it's not going to make a difference.

Cause I'm gonna be lonely at the end of the day.

Sure there's all these cats who want me,

but they're not what I want or need.

There's so much drama in this world,

all these girls have problems with their man.

So let it rain,

let the pain come rain come down.

Tell all the guys to come out

so they can wash all their sins away.

Let the girls come out

so they can do the same thing.

Let the world realize that you don't have to be rude,

just so you can get your way.

Let it rain

so all the pain can wash away.

I totally agree with this. I believe that we are to realize and confess our sins and to accept forgiveness. I love this poem due to the use of double meaning; intended or not, the symbolism and double meaning was very applicable
