On the grave of my beloved

On the grave of my beloved

A Poem by Shubham Sharma

When the star caresses my rusted soul
and the moonlight shines upon my pain
opaque lies the tormenting tomb
That encapsulates my beloved within
The memories that linger, in my tears
fall slowly on her carved out name
and when the mist of agony clears
All that is left, is who to blame
That fate that sealed our happiness
The god who wreathed misery
or me with my ceasing carelessness
Or she who didn't fight tirelessly
I wake up, my head on the tomb
And the dawn arouses me to rise
And the phantom pain that's mundane
havoc to kill my beloved's premise

Heart piercing words.....then what must be gone through the character?!....
You can't stop a destined demise
Nor the tears for it from your eyes...
These type of writing can be your stairs to million hearts...keep it up...
And your vocabulary is fascinating! 😊
