An August Romance

An August Romance

A Poem by Siddhartha

The unintended delineation,
of your face;
which in their innocence evoke,
a sight of the moon set
so infinitely high,
that the unreachability
of its scars,
gets an applause of sighs.

The insurmountability
of your grace;
like the ironed roads,
in a moonlit way
which hold themselves
in such prideful joy -
that the inevitability of night
bows itself,
before their sway.

And you yourself,
an unimagined mélange -
of the seas and the skies;
Sunny days and starlit nights...
Like the shyly radiant rose,
which kissed by the morning dew,
blooms hesitant.
And yet in that momentary sparkle
Brings all the lights
of the universe,
to savor in its sight.
