Ashes To Ashes

Ashes To Ashes

A Poem by Siddhartha

Between this night and the next,
when the moon goes to sleep,
only to wake up again.

My restless heart,
sings a quiet song,
of hope;
that what was lost,
shall one day again,
be mine to belong.

Tomorrow the Sun will shine,
and this life...
to which we hold on,
will have lost -
one more night of its time.

To live is to die,
inch by inch;
and that which now prides,
will one day be zilch...

Come sing with me then,
and pick up your head.

And we will kick up a fury,
before we end up dead.
