Eventuality

Eventuality

A Poem by Siddhartha

Her raven hair swings the winds
She is like the summer rains
Quenches the Earth, floods the plains
In her coming, the cuckoo sings

She is pretty, the twilight Sun
Blushes the skies, kisses the moon
In her wake, the evening swoons
The night comes undone

She is I; my soul, my heart
My urge, my desire, my mirth
My joy, the reason for my pain
My life, the reason for my birth
